so every day we have a reading rotation and on that reading rotation is 4 groups there is Joy Cowly, Roald Dalh, Lynelly Dod and David Walliams. and on that rotation is handwriting, teacher follow up activity and reading worksheet.
this time I was on hand writing so you get out a card and you have to write it in our reading book then when were done we hand it in to Miss Thompson and she marks them.

at school every summer we have swimming so there will be swimming every week and only one school day has no swimming, for our class tuesday is our none swimming day and that is one of the worst days for me because its boiling hot.

• so this week miss Thompson has been teaching us how to skull, if you don't know how to skull you move your hand so that it spins around and you lie on your back and it keeps you above the water with your head sticking out.

on the weekend we went to my cousins 21st his name is Rapene it was cool because their was a band and also the food was so yum you should of came and there was even sweet and sour pork and i love sweet and sour pork its my fav food.  if you have alot of big cousins you will know what a yahd is when a person  thats turning 21 they get a big glass of beer and they have to drink it all!

Specific What is my goal?	I want to get better at maths.	I will improve my spelling.
Measurable How will I know I’ve achieved my goal?	When I go to a higher group with maths.	When I look in my writing book and most if not all of my words are spelt correctly.
Actions What do I do need to do to reach my goal?	Find out more about division and being able to know it straight away.	Pratice my spelling in the reading rotation and in my own time.
Realistic Am I able to achieve my goal?	I will try to gain confidence in math and being fast.	Even though I am alright at it I want to get better at times x

WALT: improve our sketching and drawing skills.

On Monday we started to sketch out our faces.  On Tuesday we started to do the name and for the rest of the week we have been doing colouring, for me colouring was the hardest because if you pick the wrong colour you can't erase it. For 2 of my letters the patterns inside them mean something to me, the R represents my culture because if you look closely half of it has 4 leafed clovers that represents Ireland and if you look on the other half you can see koru's that represents my maori culture. the second letter is the A represents how I love being by the water.💙

on wenseday the  5 of febuary we had kiwi can if you dont know what kiwi can is it is two people that come every week and teach us sign  launguage and teach us how we can be kind to eachother and respect others and we also get to play cool games as well. this time for our game we had to have a buddy and you had to put a cone in front of you and we had to listen to a person that was telling you what body part to touch and who ever got the cone first won and the loser had to be honest and go to sit down with the other losers and after the game the people that do the kiwican for us wich is Jodicy and shail pick a kiwi canner for the week and one of them was me.

I like playing netball, I love doing kapa haka, I also like hanging out with my family and friends around the water and I of course love diving.  As you can tell I love the water.
