I.A.L.T write about a learning task from the week.
This week for maths we have been learning how to use a protractor to measure and draw angles. If you don't know what a protractor is it is a type of ruler that you use to measure angles, such as acute, obtuse, full, straight, right and a reflex angle.
I think using a protractor is hard at the start then when you get used to it it's very easy. This is how you use a protractor:
1. figure out what angle it is, this helps to get a point of view what it might add up to
2. match the line with the bottom zero
3.match up the hole in the middle to the middle of the angle that should be marked with a circle or a square
4. Put the protractor where the zero with the line
5.find the measurement is by finding which number the Ray is at.
QUESTION: do you know how to use a protractor,or are you learning to use a protractor.
