Today we had Kiwi can, we are still learning about accountability as we will be doing for the rest of the term our catch phrase was we are honest we are true we take responsibility for what we do.
Our first game was called bang, in this game we would be in a circle and when someone would call out a name that person has to sit-down and the people beside them had to say bang as fast as they can and the last one to say it sits down until there is a winner. Our second game was called the colour game, when someone calls a colour in Maori they have to wind a line on the floor in that colour, we had the colour blue-kahurangi, white-ma, brown-parouri, black-pango, for white we went to a wall and for brown we went to the floor next to the door. The last game was called traffic lights, in this game everyone goes to one side of the room and one adult goes to theoretically side and if the say green-kakariki you run, if they say yellow-kowhai that means walk and if they say red-whero you stop, to win you have to touch the person at the other side of the room first. our last game was called clap jump walk and stop, in this game you have to walk around and if they do the wrong action there out.
REFLECTION:
what did I enjoy? I enjoyed learning the catch phrase and learning the meaning of accountability.
what did I find challenging? I found that learning about accountibility so fast is very challenging.
QUESTION: have you played any of these games before?
